The Delaware County Commissioners have fired EMA director John Coutinho and named deputy director Cory Kissick to replace him. The Star Press says no specific reasoning was provided. Coutinho had been suspended since March 24. His wife, Meagan Rachelle Coutinho, was arrested by the Indiana State Police on June 3 on several charges, including suspicion of theft in her role as EMS office manager..
