A Muncie man’s 60-year sentence for murder, with 20 years added as a habitual offender, has been upheld by the Indiana Court of Appeals. Delaware County chief deputy prosecutor Zach Craig told The Star Press 46-year-old David Earl Bond Jr.’s crime was the most disturbing he’s dealt with in his 16 years on the job as far as “brutality” and “complete disregard of human life.”

Two men – 24-year-old Dontrell Cole of Franklin and 26-year-old Cameron Perry of Indianapolis – have been arrested after a high-speed chase through three counties ended on I-69 near Pendleton on Monday. The Herald Bulletin says both men face preliminary gun-related charges.
