JLBS Property LLC plans to move its headquarters to Anderson, and the Anderson City Council has set an April 9 hearing for a seven-year tax abatement. The Herald Bulletin says JLBS – previously located in Indianapolis – plans to convert empty spaces into apartments.
Lapel girls basketball star Laniah Wills has been selected to play in the 2026 Hoosier Gym all-star doubleheader. Wills will suit up for the “Terhune” team in the annual classic on April 25 at Knightstown’s historic gym. More information is available at thehoosiergym.com.

Former Ball State men’s tennis coach Bill Richards has been selected for induction to the Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame. Richards posted 769 wins and 38 MAC regular-season and tournament titles during more than five decades as the head of the Cardinals’ program.
A Muncie mother found at a local homeless camp has been arrested on neglect and drug-related charges. The Star Press says 36-year-old Tabitha Jean Say was found under a bridge near MLK Jr. and Bunch Boulevards with her infant and in possession of methamphetamine.
Prior to the shows, he told WMUN’s “Delaware County Today” he’s really enjoying the job.
