Yesterday in a release, she challenged her Democratic opponent to what she called “a real policy debate, not a staged rally with his activists.” Two TV stations have offered to host: WTHR: October 19 or 20, and FOX59/CBS4: October 23 or 30. Spartz says she is ready to participate under either station’s proposed format and welcomes constituents from both sides in the audience if the stations can accommodate them. By the way, WMUN has also offered to host, moderate, and broadcast a debate – and we’ll share information if and when it becomes a reality.
