The National Weather Service sends teams into areas after storms hit, and so far, near Farmland, IN had one of several confirmed in our state, an EF0 – defined by 3-second wind gusts between 65 and 85 mph. These storms cause minor damage rather than total destruction. Leaving some to wonder: if that storm was the weakest on the Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale, what would an EF5 with 200 mph winds be like? We hope we never know.
