The Anderson City Council has approved a seven-year tax abatement for JLBS Property LLC. The Herald Bulletin says the company converts empty spaces into apartments and is moving its HQ to Anderson with a $450,000 investment and the creation of 56 jobs paying $32.08 per hour.
Ivy Tech Muncie contributed more than $91 million to the local economy during the 2024-25 fiscal year, according to a report by Lightcast. A release from the school says that’s the equivalent of supporting more than 1,300 jobs.
