Moon Jr., who the Star Press says is one of five Indianapolis residents charged in the December death of 58-year-old Michael D. Greer.

ITOWN Church has moved up the opening of its Anderson campus from the fall to Easter weekend. The Herald Bulletin says the first services will take place April 5 at 10:15 and 11:30 a.m. ITOWN bought the former Madison County Church of God building on Dec. 22.
The trial won’t start today for a former Liberty Christian School teacher arrested last year on charges of child exploitation and possession of child pornography – the Herald Bulletin says its been moved to June 15. Claud “Tab” Greenlee II, 59, 2500 block of East Fifth Street, was also Liberty Christian’s baseball coach and a senior pastor at Tri-County Christian Church in Middletown. Greenlee was arrested in 2024 and is charged with three counts of child exploitation, two counts of possession of child pornography with aggravating factors and one count of possession of child pornography. 2 – 12 years could be the penalty if convicted on the most serious charge.
May 5 is the Primary Election in Indiana, and Delaware County will use Vote Centers for the first time. Linda Hanson from the League of Women Voters will be on tomorrow’s WMUN Delaware County Today at 8:30 a.m. To explain how Voters have the convenience of casting their ballots on Election Day at any vote center in the county. All voting machines will be programmed with proper ballot selections for all voters within the county. The electronic poll books ensure that voters cannot vote in multiple locations and that each voter casts their vote with the correct contest selections. Pendleton Heights’ girls basketball team has been announced as one of the participants in the 2026 Henry County Health Hall of Fame Classic at the New Castle Fieldhouse. The Arabians will play McCutcheon in the first semifinal on Dec. 21. Franklin Central and Northridge will meet in the second game. It will be the program’s first appearance in the annual showcase.
Ball State’s Center for Business and Economic Research is providing a tool to re-frame how Indiana schools compare their performance. The CBER study takes into account factors beyond a school corporation’s control such as student poverty and other demographic characteristics.

Felony changes filed in Madison county for Sydnee Ryan Parkhurst, 21, 100 block of Chariot Drive, arrested by Anderson police last weekend (March 21) after cops say she left the scene of a motorcycle accident. Parkhurst has been charged with two counts of leaving the scene of a crash causing serious bodily injury and never obtaining a driver’s license. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Anderson Police Department When Officer Kobe Smith arrived, Zachery Kincaid, 23, was in an ambulance and the driver of the other vehicle had left the scene. The Herald Bulletin said the probable cause affidavit states Parkhurst never called dispatch after the accident and removed a temporary license plate from the vehicle.
Anderson Speedway plans to celebrate its 79th Opening Night Saturday with a show featuring the late model, street stock, thunder roadster and front-wheel drive divisions. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. with racing at 6. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 children.
