Once again Muncie will witness a spectacular fireworks display unlike any around. 104.1 WLBC and the City of Muncie have dedicated thousands of dollars to creating the most stunning fireworks display perfectly set to music.
The fireworks will be accompanied by pyrotechnics and the synchronized music start around
10 p.m. Wednesday, July 4th. Together, We’ll Set The Night To Music!
MITS will provide free shuttle bus service to the fireworks on the levee on July 4th, 2011.
You can park for FREE at the Northside Middle School and Southside High School parking lots and ride the bus to and from the fireworks. Buses will leave every 15 minutes, starting at 8PM and continuing until the fireworks begin at dusk. After the fireworks conclude, shuttle buses will return you to your cars.
All MITS buses are air conditioned and fully accessible to people with disabilities. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs, etc. on the shuttle buses. However, open food and beverage containers are not allowed. For more information about the shuttle or any MITS service, call 289-6487.
