Overview: Woof Boom Radio is locally owned and we invest back in our community where we do business. We are growing and this is a fun place to work. Our stations are known and well respected – WERK, MAX, WHBU, WLBC, and WXFN.
Primary responsibilities include:
•Setting up and tearing down tents and promotional equipment at various locations in and around Muncie
•Working with community members to get them interested in our stations
•Coming up with and executing promotional ideas (i.e. Register to Win, Prize Wheel, etc.)
•Branding and marketing the station
•Part time, paid position
•Excellent marketing and promotions experience
•Looks good on a resume
•Great way to develop contacts
Qualifications and Experience
•Those seeking a degree in Promotions or Marketing preferred
•Follows instructions well

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/SALES POSITION
Looking for a dynamic radio Account Executive for 104.1 WLBC/ Fox Sports Radio 102.9FM/1340AM to drive local and agency revenue in East Central Indiana.
Are you passionate about sales and advertising with a strong ability to build sales? Do your clients think of you as a partner in their business and a marketing resource? Do you believe that every client deserves a custom, creative, and effective advertising solution? Do people love to do business with you? Are you competitive? Do you lead by example? Successful candidate will excel at presenting conceptual marketing plans to local, direct decision makers. Candidate will have excellent prospecting skills, enjoy relationship building and be a superb problem solver. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with computer proficiency. We are looking for someone who is creative, ethical and motivated to get results that will help our local businesses grow their businesses. Generous commission is provided for the right individual. Duration/Hours - **All Internships are unpaid**
During the internship, interns gain exposure to the realities of working in radio and gain exposure to related fields. Interns have the opportunity to prove themselves and determine if radio is a career for them. Interns make friends and contacts that they can network with as they start their career. After interns complete their term at Woof Boom Radio, some return to school and share their new experiences. Other interns volunteer or temp at the station. A few become part-time employees. Occasionally, interns obtain full-time positions at Woof Boom Radio. Many interns take their experiences to other media outlets where they begin rewarding careers.
